Protect Illinois' Environment (PIE)
is a grass-roots organization concerned with environmental preservation
in Illinois. In a world that is all too quick to change if it means a
quick fix or a quick buck, we are dedicated to preserving and enhancing
the delicate balance that currently exists around us.
PIE is committed to protecting the environment in Illinois, and to
promoting environmental equality and justice across the state, based on
the principle that all people should be protected from environmental
pollution and the companies and governmental entities that seek to to
force it on us in the name of "the public good."
